    Hello!
Is there a hackable way to mirror the iPhone to the headunit on the Prius?
I know one can mount the iphone with various available accessories but I am looking to see if I can mirror my display to the headunit. How hard is it to do it?

    Thanks!

Is this even a good idea? Driver will be too distracted to drive?

I saw posts from people who recommended something called beat sonic?

Just a heads up the touch screen wont work it will simply mirror the image and you would still have to fiddle with the phone. They have installation guides on YouTube but it looks like it will set you back around 300 dollars.

It's nice to see you saying this; that's really my first thought. I'm totally unimpressed by the (stock) Multi Function Displays already, how more and more controls that used to be tactile knobs/buttons/sliders are being dumped into a touch screen.
