Lots of similar posts but none of the typical solutions I have read on these forums seem to help me. So far I think I've ruled out: MAF - I have cleaned it Throttle Body - I have cleaned it and it is not stuck Fuel - tank is full Oil - level is just below the top dipstick mark 12V battery - has been replaced as is fully charged Had trouble with OBD II reader as it just seems to shut off rather than read codes. Once though, I got it to work and it told me there were no DTC codes!? I have an appointment booked with the dealership in order to read codes/diagnose, but I have very little faith that anything positive will come out of it. Any comments or suggestions are appreciated.
I had the same problem. Did you try to start it after it stalled? Any warnings on your screen? Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
My issue is a bit similar. I have a 2010 Prius, and when I am at a stop and then press the gas to move off, I get this shaking in the front like it wants to stall or like there is some traction that is engaged. It happens quite frequently. It also happens if I am making a sharp turn after a stop. The dealer said that it has to do with dirt in the gas like going to the fuel injection and suggested that I put some form of fuel cleaner in the gas tank when I fill up. I have done so about 5 times now, and the problem still exists. Do you think I have a front end issue? I do not want the wheels to fly off while I am driving (LOL).
