My 2010 gen three has a beeper that sounds when I leave the car with ignition on and my keys in my pocket, The siren appears to be mounted near the base of the right hand side a pillar. I want to use this siren for another purpose. What I would like to do is to have a switch inside the car that allows this siren to beep when the switch is on, the purpose of this is when I am in areas that are heavily pedestrianised. Many times I have had people walk out in front of me whilst in our town centre. Does anybody know if it is possible to do what I am asking? iPhone ?
It's a siren, it lets off a noise twice when I'm out of the car with the key in my pocket and the ignition is on. This in my 2010 gen3, my 2006 is my other one iPhone ?
thanks, mine has a beeper. i think it beeps 3 times if i close the door with car in ready and fob in pocket. it wouldn't be loud enough for pedestrians to hear. mine also has the 'pedestrian warning system', which they can't hear either.
