Used 2011 Prius - buying advice

    Hi There,

    I have almost finalized to buy used 2011 Prius which has clocked 33000KMs. However, I am seeking expert advice on the attached photo engine of bay. I found some odd rough marks near the VIN stamp. Dealer is claiming that few of the Priuses have these marks and the car is accident free.

    Please help me with the buying decision of this otherwise good car.

    It's normal. We don't have a vin plate there but we have the same appearance. It's a joint compound that used to seal up welded joints during construction of the frame
