Hi guys, took my wife's prius for a 750 miles round trip to norcal and roughly 200 miles after stopping for gas all dash lights came up (triangle of death, exclamation mark, VSC, check engine...). Since I repaired a bad module thanks to your help last may I always have a bluetooth scanner hooked up and an el cheapo android tablet running torque. Scanning for trouble codes threw me a U0111 and U0293. I didn't clear them right away but 160 miles after reaching my destination. dash lights came back after another 20 miles only and this time the scanner read U0100 and U0293. I did a quick google search before hitting the road and found a guy who found it was his scanner acting up. So I decided to clear the codes and turn off the tablet. The lights didn't come back since them (I just got home 320 miles later). More google searches indicate that it could be a bad computer, not sure which one though... HV computer or ECU computer. I don't plan on doing anything if lights don't come back but I have a feeling they will. I don't believe that bad scanner thing, especially as I've done 5K miles with it and that has never been a problem. Thinking of an intermittent communication problem between the computers like the descriptions of the codes say. Troubleshooting/identifying the failing part doesn't seem super simple but hopefully that can be done. if you guys think of something else let me know! appreciate it! thanks Steve
