prius trouble

    I lost my only key for prius 2009 model 1.8 and now when I have programed the key.its not starting. the caution sign appears and could engage in gear.what to do

    I have only one fob.Hopefully I wont loose it ,but just in case , is it difficult ir expensive to program a new one?
