Damn it was cold...but as a PSA..I wanted to get the 6 hour job done...and not take up a whole day @ a mod party.... He just finished the passenger side so now all that wiring needed to come to the controller and bundles on the driver side,,, just admiring his ziptie work...looks like minor but Sean's attention to detail is one of the many reasons we call him Masta Sean... Now the video..
I put the non folding ones on my car. With the turn lights, driving lights, and puddle lights. I get people chasing me down wanting to know where I got them.
Hey Sean and all who are thinking about getting this mod...I'm happy with this mod....it's a lot of different pieces of this puzzle to make this happen 1. Blue JDM mirrors -esham..he posted 2. JDM mirror motors I bought aftermarket -laxparts ebay 3. Sequential signal courtesy lights -roger/hybridpit 3. The correct wiring harness-Sean found still needs mirror movement troubleshooting..but lights and folds perfectly. 4. 6 hour install..which didn't include the pre-mirror mod.. 5. Patience and $$$ ...not a cheap mod...thats why I waited.. Super cool mod...you walk up to your car and the mirror courtesy lights light up...you disarm and they unfold...you lock and they close.one word... Dope! Will be super happy when the instructions are sent from vendor to correctly enable the up/down/sideway movement..of the actual mirror..oh by the way...the JDM mirrors are for left hand drive..so the driver side mirror is magnified and curved..but it took about a day to correct my depth perception...hopefully I can find a US version on the blue mirrors... Still ...folding mirrors is pimp. Thank you Sean...for making my Prius ...so fly!
