Toyota is providing 6 different paint color options on the 2017 Prime, with 2 of those colors being a premium paint that adds an extra $395 to the cost of the car. I really applaud Toyota's choices on the Prime; this isn't the safe (boring) palette we had with the first generation Plug-in, and every color looks striking on the car and has a unique way of bringing out the detail lines in the body.

For example, I don't typically like the 1F7 Classic Silver Metallic color, but on the Prime is looks very good.

The Blue Magnetism is a very unique color and the Titanium Glow is a really beautiful creamy white.

    2017 Prius Prime paint colors:

    Two exclusive paint colors
    • Blue Magnetism (791)
    • Titanium Glow (4X1)
The available colors for 2017 are:
    • Blue Magnetism (791)
    • Titanium Glow (4X1)
    • Super White (040) (fleet only)
    • Blizzard Pearl (070) (premium paint, $395)
    • Classic Silver Metallic (1F7)
    • Magnetic Gray Metallic (1G3)
    • Hypersonic Red (3T7) (premium paint, $395)

There are 2 interior color choices, available in fabric and Softex depending on package level you pick (read more about the packages here):
    • Moonstone (144B)
    • Black (201B)
The black makes the interior of the car VERY dark, so if that's what you like, Black is for you. One added bonus is you do get the black console pieces (except for the piece with the shifter, but that is available as an accessory). The Moonstone offers some variation in the interior design.

Black Softex on the Prime Advanced model:

Black fabric on the Prime Plus:

    Thank you, Danny!

Looks like black with black for me then. My wife will hate that! But that deemphasizes the > chevrons < on the front and the white porcelain pieces aren't there (save the one, which can be taken care of, as you said above.)

Awesome! Thank you so much for providing this information, it so helps to prepare me for the buying process. The red and the blue magnesium are looking like good choices for me, with black interrior. I would love the lighter interior but know it would get dirty with my luck and I would just get pissed.

Is Moonstone both an exterior and an interior color?

Might want to remove it from the exterior colour list.

For Titanium Glow, that palette looks like they took the sample from the Prius v's Toasted Walnut Pearl. If Titanium Glow is what I think it is, that 4X1 sample is not representative.

I had put moonstone down as my preferred color for the interior. After seeing it here I called my dealer and told him to go with black.

If only you had editing permissions.

I agree about Titanium Glow. It looks nothing like that in person.

I think Toyota used up their supply on Scions.

i prefer when the hood encompasses all the sheet metal, instead of having the seam run across the sheet metal like that.

Amen. Lexus stylists at work. Those fog light "inlet ports" make me a little queasy too. :(

But it makes the hood lighter when you need to open it. And shorter if you open it inside your garage and you have low clearance. Or less repair in a minor collision. It flows into the seam on the fender so that's a design thing there. It's got all that going for it, why would Toyo care what it looks like?

    (Just trying to justify it....)

The hood seam also introduces drag.

That disruption could be the opposite, introducing a tiny bit of air-pocket for improved flow.

Think about the air-pocket on the hatch window of the regular Prius... which is obviously easier/cheaper than the dual-wave Prime will offer.
