Just bought an AR Blue Clean AR 383 for $119 (including shipping from Home Depot -- they price matched a farm store I found online).

Since around June, I have been attacked by various physical aliments, which have really knocked me back on those household chores -- such as clean and stain the deck (which is a monster 2nd-story deck that wraps around the house and then has stairs down to the ground).

In the past, I have refused to do anything but scrub brushes and oxygen bleach to clean the deck. And then brushes to re-stain, once every four years.

It takes mucho time and cursing and a lot of ladder work. This year, as fall approaches and thankfully, I think I am finally well again, I went the pressure washer route. No ladder needed.

Whew. Takes about one-fifth the time. And, I can use it to clean the cars, the BBQ grill, the moss off the walkways.

For the price, it is a great machine.

I looked into renting much bigger and heavier machines locally and it was $80 per day. This thing has plenty of power and was $119 and I own it.

Anyway, if you have "thought" about it, I would highly recommend.

Just don't get it too close to your car. It's possible to sign you name on the driveway easily with a power washer.

Did the name thing the first day!

I also have a big boulder that I put my charcoal grill against as I pressure washed the grill. The boulder now has "tasty" grill marks.
