Help! New owner, idiot light!

    Aloha! I just got home with my new (to me) 2007, just gorgeous! But when I got home and took the fob out (It's the model that you insert the fob into a little slot) a flashing light came on. And I cannot find the icon listed anywhere, to know what it means.

    It's a little car, and in the middle, looks like a little key. And when I put the fob in, it goes away. It only comes on when I take the fob out.

    Am I just too dumb about Prius or what?

    I did do a scan (Yes, I have a scanner) and it showed no codes.

    HELP!

    congrats and welcome! it's probably just telling you to insert the fob into the slot. otoh, you may want to check the fob battery and the 12v. did you get two fobs?

    It's just the immobilizer light, no need to be concerned, it's normal
