    Jason,
This is a pretty good price, I am in OC and found $20,612 plus tax and lice to = $22,794 to be my best OTD price, that was the Costco pricing at Miller Toyota Anaheim. I have emailed about 5 dealers and this is my best so far. I am going to try to pay at most $22k OTD and will keep you posted on my findings.

Tony - thanks for sharing. Please keep me posted.

Out of nowhere, just for the heck of it, I sent replies to the dealers who emailed me with an offer last week. I figured there's nothing to lose so I asked them if they would sell the Prius Two at $18,500 after rebate + TTL....I'd be happy to report that no one took the bait :) It was a serious long shot. I only chose $18,500 just because and see what offers I get. So far, no one has gone down as far as $20,475 + TTL. :)

Right now, it looks like the folks from Cali here have stated that a Prius 2 in the $20K range is a pretty good deal.....I'll see what the next few days bring. I did fall in love with the car after driving it once.

I am going to look at a Prius tomorrow. So, I need help! What is HUD, and TSS-P (for 2016s)?
    What is PCP?
    What is the touring package?
What is the difference between the ECO and a regular Prius?

Heads Up Display, let's you see your dash in the windshield like a fighter jet, so you can keep your eye in the sky.

tss-p is the technology safety package, and pcp is the premium convenience package. the window sticker will spell everything out for you.

touring gets 17" wheels and suspension upgrade, plus some other features.

on the package 2, (base model) the eco has lithium batteries, same as all the other models, but the non eco has old fashioned nimh batteries, like all prius up to gen 4. eco has a few other features which give it a few more mpg.

lithium is the future, and you can have it now. it's lighter, more compact, and packs more punch. in the prius application though, they are about the same.

So confusing. There are just so many models and options to chose from. I sure wish I had help from all of you while I shop around tomorrow. I feel like I am going to get shafted.

Offered 22,050 for standard three. On my way to drive her home in about a half an hour.

    Best offer for P3 w/ATP: 23,999 (Carson)
Best offer for P3 Touring: 23,599 (Carson)

Tried to get others to outbid on the ATP and Touring. All of them said that's a smoking deal and that I should take it. Unfortunately I couldn't convince the wife to go with ATP or Touring so hitting the standard three.

This is all in Southern Cal btw. I got quotes from Orange County, LA County and San Diego County.

Just got back from the dealership. We got a two for $19,175.75. I walked out paying a total of $20,430.00 with $1000 trade in for my 2006 Prius with 236,000 miles on it that we bought new. I don't think that makes me the best deal on here, but we felt really good about it.
