I've noticed some references to Prius Groups in various locations. If you participate in one in any part of the country, what type of events, benefits, etc have you experienced? Have the groups been fun and worthwhile? Based on the responses, would be interested to know if anyone in the Phoenix area would be interested in establishing some type of club environment. Nothing too time consuming, just social and info sharing on situations particular to our region. You know at what temperature will the vehicle spontaneously combust? Let's do it quick since it's supposed to be 113 this weekend. If we could get organized, sure would like to have group effort to get ADOT to finalize use of the 'AF' plates for all the assoicated benefits.
I would be interested, I am still waiting for my car though but should be here soon, and my friend just got hers 2 weeks ago and may be interested as well. I noticed there are a few people that post here that are from Arizona, and i'm sure there's no lack of enthusiasm for sharing info about thier Prius love with other owners.
I'd love to join your group even though I have not yet put in an order for my car. Perhaps I can ask your advice as to which dealers within the Phoenix area are best to work with? In any case, please keep me in the loop on any future activities! -- Igo2xS
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(igo2xs @ Jun 3 2006, 11:51 AM) </div> I bought my Prius at Right Toyota in Scottsdale; I bought my last car at Right Honda. Both times I was more than satisfied with their service. http://www.righttoyota.com/
Igo2xs, I would second kevmac and also vouch for Right Toyota. When I decided to buy a Prius, Brad Pringle Internet / Fleet Manager (480) 778-2334 Direct Line (480) 818-3273 Cell Phone was able to deliver me one whthin one week. Very nice guy, no nonsense, honest salesman. He also threw a free winodws tint for me. Tell him Val Tamarov sent you and I'm sure he will be able to help you out (I will not get anything for the referal)
Hi Val & kevmac, My thanks to you both for the tip about Right Toyota! Am I to assume that they are willing to sell Priui at MSRP without any add ons? Val I will certainly let Brad know you pointed me to him. I plan to visit the dealership today, so I'll let you know how that turns out. Thanks again for the info. I hope we all can meet in person soon. Take care, Igo2Xs
Hi Val & kevmac, I had a chance to meet Brad yesterday afternoon. He was everthing you said he was, very kind and upfront. It looks like I'll have to wait until the end of July or early August before putting an order in for my car, especially if I want a 2007. Otherwise, Brad mentioned it's not too hard to get cars with Pkg #7, so I was happy to hear this. Also he is willing to sell the car at MSRP. In any case, thanks again for pointing me to Right Toyota. I certainly appreciate your help! Take care, Igo2Xs
