My car should be here this week, hopefully (I heard that last week too). Anyway, I bought the EFPC upgrade, and am now concerned about mileage. If it's too bad, like in the high 30's, I'll put stock set up on it. Does anybody know where the best place to buy stock tire and wheel set up with sensors? I should have bought it stock, then bought aftermarket tires and wheels after, so I could swap when I wanted, but I did it backwards. I see a set on Ebay, but they don't have the sensors, and I heard the sensors are at least 100 a piece.

Make sure to tell them that before it arrives, so they make sure to swap the TPMs to the new rims. You aren't going to find the TPMs anywhere but through Toyota for a very long time, I would bet. Try Conicelli Toyota, 1-800-220-3788 for prices about 25% off list if you want to buy them.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(mike_m @ May 30 2006, 01:25 PM) </div> The best, and cheapest, place to buy a stock set of rims/tires for the Prius is on Ebay. You can usually get a complete set of 4 for $4-600. Considering that a single stock rim will run about $360 from the dealer, Ebay is your best bet.
Some car dealers and tire shops have new car "take-offs" that they can discount. I got some Mustang wheels/tires that way years ago.

The wheels and tires are off my 2006 Prius and are 06 wheels Mike, I have an extra set of '06 stock wheels with sensors and stock tires with 1000 miles on them. I was thinking about saving them, but I could be talked into selling them. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(TomKahn @ Jun 3 2006, 12:22 AM) </div> Thanks Tommy, I changed my mind. My car looks way too good to mess with it. If I decide to play, I'm gonna probably buy some lighweight "Weds" instead. Keep your tires and wheels you because never know when you might need them. I do appreciate the offer.
