Anyone have their 2006 hooked up to a Toyota scantool for programming (for any reason) and notice a 3-5 mpg reduction?
If the ECUs lose power for whatever reason, or get reinitialized, then the engine controller has to re-learn a bunch of parameters. In the meantime, it runs from the default fuel maps which are probably not optimized for your particular engine and driving style. So give it a few days and a few full thermal cycles / trips... . _H*

Does more than one person drive the car? That can confuse the leaning curve. When I had my ECU reprogrammed I had a hit for at least a tank, that is 500 mi plus.
