Thank you for responses. Very GOOD STUFF! I think I might replace 12v battery being so old. I drive the prius daily allot. Also thinking of purchasing 2nd to offset wear/tear on single.
True, and even if those door lights are disconnected and all other interior lights are off, whenever any door (including hatch) is open there's still a sneaky drain roughly equal to a typical incandescent dome light. That alone will drain the battery in a couple of days.
Well thats what Im wondering. She still works as designed, in all areas, just that HV BATTERY concern. I was wondeting about the reconditioning kit on PriusChat store...No biggy though, just wondering if I need to nip it in tbe BUD? I'll upload more after a drive. After short drive...
I have 163k miles on my 09 still going strong with no signs of degradation yet as I can hold a Glide on electric for long stretches getting 60+ MPG. I live in the Midwest which is another factor for longevity compared to a very very hot regions.
Thanks for chiming in..,On level smooth roads I still glide and glides well I may add. Avg 50.04 after 5k city/hwy running with A/C and 65 MPH for 1.5 hrs, one way. .but the roads are hilly winding and windy. this particular drive was just a small stretch of expressway overpass while I was heading to the store to get oil for oil change. up and down overpasses for a bit, not really trying to glide just trying to get HV Battery to move charge up and down...Anybody have similar Elm data for comparison?
Forgot to include my screen shots of my long coast and glides. I ecpect this HV battery pack to last me another 100k miles. I keep the HV battery cooling system and fan cleaned out often. Maintain, Maintain.. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
Yea this up and down hot humid cold and wet terrain isnt very nice to battery. I might just be over reaching and looking for premature fault after warning light popped up, right after cleaning the HV BATTERY cooling fan. I may just pull in to O'reilly Auto parts and pick out a new 12V and monitor for changes before ordering up a new HV BATTERY. Once I decide to get the 09,(fingers crossed) I'll have time to do some battery work on the '10.
The battery voltages do not look much different than mine. The system will trigger a DTC if the difference in voltage of adjacent modules is greater than 0.3V. Your largest difference that I see is 0.07V. From this reading I do not see a problem with your battery.
Did you go down a big incline today? The SOC Max at 93% is high. The system tries to limit SOC to 80%. It tries to keep SOC between 40 and 80%.
Haha. That is Engine Link being displayed on an iPhone, similar to Torque on Android. Trying to display 14 parameters on a phone display can cause overlap and crowding. I like to use my iPad with the larger screen when trying to display battery voltages, resistances, etc.
This thread is way off topic. It's supposed to be about the 12v auxiliary battery, not the traction battery and monitoring software and displays. SMH
