I have seen my friend built himself a foam frame and wedged it in the space between front seats and folded back seats for longer trunk while camping/long trips. Does anyone have better idea or invention you already have installed in your Prius?
I have not done this in my 2016 but have seen videos of older Prius models set up for camping. They find plastic storage containers about the correct size for the space and use them to fill in. So then they also utilize that space for storing items for the camping trip. And if the container isn't high enough they fill in that small space with a folded blanket or towel. Sorry I never copied the link but if you search Prius camping I'm sure you will find one that shows how they do it.
