What did you do to ur Gen III Prius today????

My previous post is actually stupid and I don't know why I did that... Lol! I guess I'm just in a really good mood today.

On the upper dash the speedometer is blue but the actual hybrid display is still stock? Why?

 

That's hard core.... Who would go through all that trouble ?

 

Had to pull out my shift knob yesterday to clean it since it was super grimy. Ended up stripping the clear coat and redoing it. Came out alright but much better than before. Will end up pulling it again to strip and respray with mild tinting before clear to darken it a bit.

 

OR........someone being checked for a hernia

Should have though of doing this right from the beginning

 

Thought a mod party was about to go down in my neighborhood. Looked outside to find 6 gen2s and 2 gen3 parked out on the street. I could only fit 5 of them in this pic.

 

So far so good. The battery life is better than previous setup with the acer. The sounds coming out of it are better, too.

The ipad mini2 is a perfect size. So we chose to put a velcro backing to the bracket, so that when it's time to upgrade or sell, I wouldn't need a new bezel.

We'll see how long it will hold up with heat and such.

When the weather gets hot, like around noon, the failsafe activates and I need to cool car before it turns on. But that happened once and I didn't cover it. Since then, I have put a cloth over screen. Gonna get a heatshield.

 

I drove the white car all morning and then had to reboot my brain when I got back in the red car.
