greetings all, Can anybody point me to the post that listed the part numbers of the 3 foam pieces that "convert" the Prius 4 to a compact spare configuration? I think it was basically Prius 3 parts ? I have tried every search string I could think of but haven't been able to faint that exact post - only references to it... Has anyone successfully set up a reasonably priced source for the pieces yet? My dealer is saying a little over $500... Thanks! Bs
Ok, so let me ask this- does anyone know of a lookup parts diagram for the Gen 4 level 3 or 3T that would show part numbers? I am seriously wanting to do the "3 to 4" switch but looks like the foam pieces are special order and not returnable, and if I pay the $ 500 the parts guy is estimating, I really don't want to have useless foam on my hands that doesn't fit. They seem pretty unsure about the parts like is it 2 pieces or 3... The dealer isn't interested in letting me explore a 3 since I didn't buy the car from him. Thanks for any input... BS
...Just want to say thanks to all who helped answer this question. I finally found my own answer and will repost the thread here so in the future others might be able to find the answer with another search string. Can't imagine no one else could help with the answer... "...We bought a 4 Touring in March with the promise that the dealer would supply a spare and all of the parts. It is finally all here and here are the Toyota part numbers for the proper three pieces of foam for around and over the tire: 64995-47040 Box, deck floor, RH 64993-47090 box, deck floor, RR 64997-47050 box, deck floor, LH These are for the compact spare only. The full size spare pieces are also available but the floor raises almost 3.5 inches. You will also need the wheel, tire, and bolt that holds down the spare. No lose in MPG. I hope this helps.
