Too bad we won't get that here. US/Canada regulations do not allow for sequential indicators yet.

I've just noticed an interesting rear lip spoiler below the rear wiper.

Just got word I'll get to see the car in a dealership at the end of this month. :) That means they'll probably have pricing and specs ready by then as well.

Toyota C-HR: design details to fall in love with - Toyota

Kind of interesting and somewhat funny blog post. Notes like "C-HR is equipped with the longest headlight units in the market.." make you think like, hmm, why is that worth mentioning? Is there something inherently good about having *long* headlight units? Other than that they get stone chipped more easily and are probably costly to replace? :)

    At least this was new:

One picture taken at the Flow Festival in Finland, I think the LED strips look cool:

I talked to my dealer and we agreed that we meet half september. At that moment he would have all the info to make a reservation. My car will be on the first trailer from Turkey and will arrive in november. I will be one of the first driving his car in Holland...
It will be a two tone, fully loaded, and silver or blue.

seems like it won't be coming to the US as a 2017 car. so most likely a 2018?

too bad, i really need to make a decision soon and will most likely end up with a HRV even tho I don't love it

I called him today and in Holland there is no news yet about a first edition. The C-HR will come in september to order and delivery in november. The swiss first edition is quite interesting, nice wheels too. I only hope there will be a version without leather seats.

Most NA people probably are not aware of the heavy and complex tax system my Dutch friends "endure" when purchasing a new car (I'm Belgian).

I guess the most useful indication for them is the column "Netto Cat.prijs excl. BTW (€)", which shows prices before tax. Exchange rate roughly is 0.89 $ for 1 €.

Nope. Also, most prices in Europe include taxes while here, we're still quoting pre-tax prices. (because that is the only one that's standard across the country. Every province/territory/state has its own tax regime).
