That is the DRCC screen, the radar cruise control distance screen. My guess is that all trim levels have that screen as a cost-saving measure not having to build different ones even if your car is not equipped with radar cruise.
Perhaps with LDA turned off? I've never looked at mine in that state, as I always have LDA enabled so it always shows the side marker detection state.
Confirmed this evening, this is how the DRCC and LDA status screen appears when neither feature is active.
I was VERY close to buying the Scion iA. (Made by Mazda.) And the "no haggle" price made it even better. Every review I read was very positive. They said it handles great, but a bit underpowered. It's also pretty small, but I think it would be a great 2nd car to run around town... or a good car for a college student.
They're about to ruin it when they badge it as a Yaris iA. I agree, it's a great car. Standard autonomous low speed emergency braking. Still, I like the Mazda 3 more.
