I did a little reading... Supposedly, these "sealers" are so good, you may be able to go up to 9 months without having to wax your car. (I found the Zaino at their website. And there's all kinds of other brands.) But that takes away all my fun! I can't wax my car for 9 months?! :( ....

I'm in MN, so it's every 6 for me no matter what. No waxing when it's -30 in January :p

Yeah spring and fall are good times for waxing: not too hot or cold.

If any of you feel like going down the rabbit hole and getting seriously OCD about your car's paint, check out the Autopia and Autogeek message boards (and their related online stores).

Hint: never buy anything from them unless it's during a 15% off (or more) sale. They run them practically every week.

With sales, you can often get a gallon of something for slightly more than retail price on a quart from a store.

Page 624 of the PDF manual is the first of four pages that tell you how to do this.

There might be multiple pdf versions, with shifted page numbers. Probably safer to show the as-published page number, it shows in the pdf, and handier for everyone, whether they're looking it up in pdf or paper manual.

    Yeah, I found it.

I can't believe that guy who took his Prius to the dealer, and 4 techs didn't know how to change the blades?
I think he was pulling our leg.

I received this tube of "Lusterizing Sealant" (it was in the glove box) when we picked up our car the 1st of June. I have not used it yet because I am waiting to wax the car after the 1st week of September because of the repair done to the back bumper from a rear ender accident. My question is has anyone else used this product or even seen it. It has a Toyota part number for what that is worth...

The Lusterizing Sealant application instructions sound like a typical car polish. And the statement about having to apply it twice yearly to maintain a warranty: sounds like some sealant package come-on.

Using it up seems a good course.

    Turtle Wax Ice
sure makes the Darth Vader screen nice and shiny. :) And it is definitely attracting less dust. Don't know why; and don't care. I'll take it!

I also tried it on many of the black plastic trim pieces (as the bottle says you can do.) The black door pillars, the plastic where the wiper blades are, some trim around the windows... even some black plastic in the engine bay, and around the rear hatch. Not one speck of any wax residue showed on the black.

In fact, it is so clear on my white paint, sometimes I can't see it when wiping it off. The entire car is less dusty. Maybe it's just the time of year? I don't know but I'm enjoying it.

Mine came with the factory toyota rubber mats and rubber cargo tray. They seem to work very well and have a nice ridge to hold in liquid if need be.

Also the cargo tray has Rubber seat back protectors that totally cover the seat backs and attach by way of Velcro if you have to fold them down for a big load. They look good and are functional. I leave them in place attached.

The 2016 rubber mats and cargo tray seem improved over the last Gen's version for sure.

Weather tech is another great option but might cost more.

So you have the kind win the leaf design up front? How does your trunk liner look?

Your cargo cover goes up higher than mine. Maybe mine is in backward.

Make sure the long strings are the ones that go to the top, and the shorter ones go to the bottom

Wait a second. If I want the cover to go up higher, it seems like the LONG strings should be on the bottom?
