At these prices.. I think you might be able to convince your friends to buy one. 2016 Prius - Best Prices So Far {ALWAYS UPDATED - LET ME KNOW IF YOU BROKE THE RECORD} | PriusChat
I purchased my car back in January from a "no haggle" dealer-- Westborough Toyota. They used to list price on their website for all to see, but now they make you give them your email, before automatically sending you their price. I just did that and they came back with this for today's price: 4-Touring with PCP with a MSRP of $32,860 Westborough (MA) Toyota Price of $28,381 + $440 Dealer Doc fee = $28,821 This may not be the best deal out there, but it sure is less than I paid!
Aug/ Sep can be the best time to buy a car as the new model year is typically released in Sep/ Oct. Add to that to buy at last few days of the month and late in the day as related to sales dept. goal pressures. We bought or '16 v in Feb...just because. There were rebates or special financing offers at that time I recall. Have fun, we'd buy a Prius v again.
I'm wondering if there is a downside to waiting too long. I'm in the luxurious position of having a car that I'm totally fine with (Honda Fit), so I have no time pressure to buy a Prius. I want a Three with ATP. I am thinking the Labor Day sales will be a good milestone. After the Labor Day hype and clearance sales, I wonder how low the prices will go (or, how high the incentives will reach). Is there a danger of supply running out? Will it become difficult to get the exact model/options that you want? I wonder what the difference would be between buying in October vs. waiting until January.
Sure, supply will diminish quickly with these great deals. Especially so with the special packages that are normally hard to come by. Take it for what's it's worth. Find what you want and buy now I say, or play the lotto later and hope to find what you want or be stuck with what's on the lot. For what it's worth I have been told by a couple dealerships that what is on thier lot is all they will be getting in for the year before the 2017's arrive! Not sure how true this is but I guess it's possible. And OP? Will you be buying a 2016 or just being helpful and posing the good deals for all to see?
I think the best time to buy is around June. A lot company move thing in and out during the End Fiscal yr which is June. The same goes with the cars. The dealer need to moved out 2016 . They have 0 for 72 months. The more rebated you can pull the better purchased you will have . They have now the 3 month without payment too. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
