tmsusa has posted extensively on this issue here, and it is much appreciated. I stopped by the Edmunds forums and found that the same had been done there. I had a feeling (prejudice) that the issue would be treated emotionally at Edmunds, but tmsusa's postings seem to have averted that. For the moment at least! Anyway I think this was a good move by Toyota to have a rep speak up in the forums.
