Hey all, I've got a 2010 Gen3 with about 200 000 km on it (I'm in Canada). The only real trouble I've had, is that every single time I take my car into the dealership and they touch the brakes at all, they give it back to me and I get this "Brake clunk" noise. All I can describe it as is either a metal-on-metal tinking/banging or a rattle over broken/rough pavement, or a single "Tink" noise when I apply the brakes when going in reverse. Here are a couple of videos (not great) showing what I'm talking about. How it usually goes: I go back to the dealership a week later and complain, and they do "something" (I still have no idea what they do) and it goes away. Then I go in for my next maintenance service and it happens again. Repeat over and over and over and over. I'm so tired. Please tell me I'm not the only one this happens to - and is there anything I can tell these guys that they might be doing wrong that I can advise them about? Huge thanks in advance. -Iain
I don't know - usually the person who gives the car back to me is not the same person that took me in and they know nothing more than "here are your keys" (it's the largest Toyota dealership in Ontario, I'm told).
