Hello, I just bought the black console for my Prius. Does anyone have the instruction to how properly put it together in the car. It come with two part. The steering wheel part need help. Forgot to ask for it. Thx Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.

Where are you guys buying these black trim pieces? I'm currently shopping for a 4 Touring. My local dealer has two that I like in stock. A Blizzard Pearl one with black interior that has the white console that looks like a school bathroom urinal especially with the all black interior. The other is a Silver model with moonstone interior that has the black trim installed and according to the sticker it was installed by Toyota not the dealer for a $199 markup. I kind of like the Blizzard pearl exterior but prefer the moonstone interior with the black console. Just wondering what my options are for covering up the white console and if it is cheaper to DIY rather than ask the dealer to do it. Thanks.
You can do it yourself and buy the parts from the dealer or have them do it. It should cost around $200.
From my experience it better if it come from the Factory. It a lot better . I like the black Interior. Something else get the paint protector. The Prius is a a lot lower than the Gen 3 Make sure they get that bill not you. I have Two Eco but I like the Three more. Good luck Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
They do not come from the factory with the black console on anything above the 2, your only option is the dealer installed applique or to buy it and put it on yourself. I had the dealer install it while I signed the papers when I bought mine.
I purchased the the black one cause the Two Eco come without it cover. If I had a choice I pick the white one. It depends what color you have inside. I did ask for it. They said not in the Two Eco . Next time I buy another Prius I be prepared. I will do thing different. 3 weeks to order the Center Console too much . I told Toyota they need to improved their system in order for us to have a better experience. Right now they are in the Dinosaur time. I just wish The Prime Will go to 100 miles. 28 miles it does nothing for me. If I get a really good deal I will go for it. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
