2005 Prius that has only 85K miles, and a two-year old hybrid battery (replaced at 75K miles). Exterior and interior conditions are good.

    $7K

    Good price? Bad price?

welcome! that sounds quite high to me, but price is local. you can only compare it to what else is available. if you do decide to move forward, make sure it was a new toyota battery replacement, and not a refurb.

Is the replacement a new Toyota battery or some unknown rebuilt?

Good question. I'll be paying a Toyota dealer to do a full inspection ahead of time! But for the sake of time, let's say it's Toyota and the inspection is fairly clean. 7K? I am in the Boulder area.
