What did you do to ur Gen III Prius today????

Lately I'm opening the thread in another tab and hitting reload over and over to see whether or not my post succeeded. The "Post Reply" function just seems to hang, even when it succeeds.

 

Installed Prius Plus rear sway bar.

Immediately better cornering and mid corner stability.

Entire install took 40-minutes including shuffling around for tools, working with an old leaking jack and rusty stands.

Highly recommend.

 

Experimenting with trim to cover edges of trunk floor.

 

They need to be installed, but there are mods onboard. Be the first to correctly guess the contents of all 4 packages and I'll buy you Happy Meal.

 

Hey guys mods have been slow lately on the Pri but I installed my Stage10 gear selector today. I'm currently on the look out for a BP Plus Kit if anyone has one for sale.

 

Wow seeing the start of rust on Victor Tilane Prius post, sure makes me happy I live in California, even with shake and bake! Today 103F!!!

 

Where in the great state of CA? Up here in the east Bay Area today is was about 90 and not a cloud in the sky. But it comes with a price. Had to play the tail light tango most of the way home . But a small price to pay for good quality of life.

 

I hate rust and salt and the cold and winter and....I wish I lived in Cali.

Before winter, I'm going to do a rust converter and oil spray job on the underbelly.

Nice area. The wife's family was from lake forest. They would always spend Christmas on San Clemente beach. A great place to live!

 

Ah the used oil under coating. My old man still does those ( he lives in PA). Definitely helps keep the car from rusting away. Had a 94 jeep Cherokee that lost the floor, so we went with an old road sign we cut for the repair.

I grew up around snow and all it's "fun" facets . Now to experience it, we drive 2 hours to Lake Tahoe and then get to leave it there.
