I'm really interested in getting one of these. Can you provide the link to exactly what you bought on eBay?

Living in snow country, I'm not removing my wiper/washer. Do you think this spoiler would fit in front of the sprayer?

I really admire, what a lot of what I assume are the younger generation do with their vehicles in terms of updating and modding.
I'm routinely impressed with the work done with the interiors, exteriors and often the lighting and electronics.

    BUT...
I guess I'm just an old guy in terms of "suspension".
Because I when I see these beautiful vehicles lowered to within scant millimeters from the ground?
    I just don't get it.

If you could guarantee me the world in which I'm driving is going to be always perfectly paved and flat?
Well, I'd still want a few inches clearance...but I might be talked into a more ground hugging stance.

Otherwise? Unless you intend your vehicle to be nearly a "show" only vehicle? I don't get the desire to make a vehicle into bump and driveway salute to the body scrapping capabilities of gravity.

How do you guys functionally drive them in the real world?
My Prius suspension is obviously NOT modded, and I still have too often heard the annoying sound of a scrape in just a standard parking lot with speed bumps, or coming out of a inclined driveway.

    Hey there,

The cars you see on this thread that are really low to the ground most likely have Air Suspension. I have Air Suspension and I love it because I get the best of both worlds. When I park my car, I air out all the way down so I get that aggressive stance that most car enthusiasts love.

Obviously, I don't drive that low but when I do need to drive my car it remains fully functional in the real world. Thanks to my Air Management System, all I need to do is Air up to my drive height and take off. My system has 8 presets for different drive heights that I can save and activate with a push of a button. I have my drive height, speed bump height, driveway height, high cruise height, low cruise height etc. I even have a dealership height or stock height for when I take it in for service.

Air Suspension is not for everybody but it works great for me. Then you have others who just love driving low. (y)

As @Gaspeed said it is Air Suspension. Of course if it is in Japan, they bend all the rules of the game.

    In a nutshell. They ..

    AIR UP when they drive.
    AIR DOWN when they park.

So all the pictures you see here are AIR DOWN. (With the exceptions of @sfv41901 and @Gaspeed who loves to mow the road and pick up coins on the road).

Yes. I don't understand that either. :p

LOL, I'm guilty for avoiding certain parking lots because I know the driveway to enter, or most-likely to exit, is too steep for my car to make it without destroying the entire front bumper. It's become a nice little game to approach at the correct angle, and it's pretty damn satisfying when i flatten out and don't hear anything scrape :ROFLMAO:

I have bottomed out going over speed bumps when I have enough passengers and it is not a nice sound. But I drive-off and realize the car still works and all is well in the world.
