Prius 2011 1.8 orange triangle with exclamation mark icon

    I have 2011 prius 1800cc..my car dashboard display come ORANGE TRIANGLE WITH EXCLAMATION MARK light and msg HYBRID SYSTEM CHECK. ..car is start no problem in drive..every thing work. .but display computer (check consumption graph Charging wheel etc)not show...when i press staring display button show charging graph consumption etc only for few seconds.and go to msg check hybrid system. .please guide me what is problem...(sorry for my bad english)plz reply as soon ..thanks

    That indicator display is alerting you to a serious malfunction which should be diagnosed immediately. I would not attempt to drive the car.

    This happened to me and I drove 13 miles back home, ..prius made it and I reset via battery ground. Inverter circulates and ice responds along with charging of traction battery.

    P0A80 via ELM 327. Reset codes and has not shown again, cross my fingers (as if that will help)

    Several months ago I had a full service oil change on my 2011 at Walmart. This warning was on when they were done, and as they were attempting to figure it out the car completely died. I had it towed from Walmart to the Toyota dealer, and $114 later was told the airbox was not hooked back up correctly (Walmart checked the air filter). They hooked everything up and recharged the battery and all is well. No idea what the airbox has to do with the hybrid system. Btw Walmart did reimburse me.

    That is why I never have someone else change my oil and if I have to I tell them just change the oil don't touch anything else.
