I'm thinking of switching out my Prius c tires to a P205/55R15 because I spend a lot of time going up to the snow during winter plus I've lost traction in the rain a couple times but I don't know if this would be too big of a size to consider most threads talk about P195/60R15 but I was thinking a tad bigger any suggestions? Ps I'm new to this forum
I also mean if it's going to cost me more than 5 mpg or affect me clearance give me problems if it has a tire pressure sender etc.
I'm running 205/45/17s. Eliminated all my traction issues. My mileage didn't suffer much/at all, to my observation...but i did also lower mine 2.5" in front and 3" in the back. I like to run them closer to the tires' spec pressure, so I do get pressure alarm when they're warm. I ordered a VTI cable to see if I can talk to my computer and tweak the alarm setpoint. I'll let you know if I get anywhere after I try it. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
