Project: Angry Panda

With the confidence i had buying TOMS Racing parts for the Prius, it was time to expand my catalog of pure awesomeness for Angry Panda!

 

Being in the Honda scene since the early 90's, you come to appreciate what works for your car and appreciate the pure beauty of JDM style and craftsmanship.

So it was a journey to find the best Tower brace which adds a touch of Mugen Goodness with a sprinkle of Carbing Love - both strut bars are fully welded, creating extremely high rigidity which includes reducing weight.

The decision was clear! TOMS racing was one of the few designs that incorporate a one piece design that would help benefit the rigidity and reinforcement when Angry Panda is ready to dance with the Big Boys!

Mount on all three corners of the strut Tower



Cleared the LHD Braking reservoir! Also plenty of room to access your fuse panel without taking your bar off

As shown from my last picture, the last piece of the puzzle is a TOMS steering brace.

Once both bars were installed, I was just amazed how the steering characteristics of Angry Panda changed. It was definitely a night and day difference with the steering response, the sloppy steering was eliminated which change the characteristic of the car by entering turns with confidence.

 

After the steering brace installed, it was time to step back and return to Intake Tuning.

Road testing the HKS Premium Suction Kit for a couple of months proved to be a good investment and it was time to step up with another part that goes hand to hand with the bored out Throttle Body and Intake..........
