When the dealer got my car it came with one year of premium servies (internet traffic, weather, google places etc). He updated it and it magically became 3 years. I just logged in to Toy's customer portal and I now have... 5 years for everything. Including waht's normally a 99€/year speed camera service. Now if only it could read music from a USB stick or through bluetooth without crashing...
Music from a USB stick should be easy - I saved MP3s into root directory, plugged it in, changed SOURCE, and it played. The interface isn't flash, but it worked fine. I haven't tried with Bluetooth.
Sometimes it does, and sometimes it doesn't. Keeps telling me to wait while it's loading. Switching the motor on and off again usually makes it play immediately. There's definitely something fishy with the latest update.
Yes and I tried different formats stick capacities etc. It's the head unit. It also crashes with bluetooth audio.
I was just making sure that you were using either FAT or FAT32 to format your USB stick - those are the only formats that can be recognized by head units. I am assuming that you have tried different stciks too. So sounds like a (software?) problem with your head unit.
Like I wrote in another thread Toyota changed the HDD of the Satnav and less than a day later all the problems are back. This is unacceptable. Non traditional companies like Google and Tesla are going to own 100% of the market and Toyota and others will have dug their own graves, mark my words. To top it off I can't register the new Satnav on Toy's website, it has been telling me to wait 24 hours for... 2 days, so none of the subscription are working.
