Mine got hit 2 years ago when it had ~1000 miles on it. New front bumper, hood, right front quarter panel. Body shop had to fade the new blizzard pearl paint into the A pillars, left quarter panel and right front door and re clear coat those panels. Looks good and I doubt that you could tell it was ever hit.
If it's the front fenders then it's easy if you open the hood. If it still the VIN number, it's been repaired and painted. If the VIN number is missing or doesn't match your actual VIN then it's been replaced.
I was saying , you wouldn't be able to tell by looking at my paint that my fender was replaced and painted by a repair shop
Well, I took my car to the body shop. It'll be ready in 1 week. Hopefully the paint will match. I left a note for the shop not to leave it in neutral or else the hybrid battery will be ruined. My insurance covered rental so I rented a Sonata. First off, I hate the turn signal blinker sound. Second, Not liking the Android Auto setup. I haven't connected my phone to it or ran it yet. I just read the screen info for Android Auto. It said that bluetooth audio will not function when connected to Android Auto. I'll play with it more tomorrow. So far I'm getting just over 30MPG city.
