Not sure why I'm having such a hard time finding out the bore size for the Prius C... Please advise. Moreover, are any of you with aftermarket wheels using hubcentric spacers? I want a 5mm, maybe 10mm, hubcentric spacer and want to make sure that I order the correct size. I'm leaning toward the spacer route because I'd like the offset to be slightly more aggressive, but I would at least purchase hubcentric rings, for which I'd still need the bore size... iPhone ?
You just installed the Flex Z! We're gonna be buddies. I'm waiting for mine to come in. Haha. Thank you for the bore size. My wheels are +38 offset, 15 x 6.5". Considering adding spacers to push wheels a little closer to fender. iPhone ?
I wish! I don't think I'm going to be able to get them... The guy I ordered from was mistaken; they are back-ordered. He refunded me. I'm trying to get them from a seller on eBay. He won't respond to my "Best Offer". Another seller has them but is in Japan. I sent him a message because I don't want to get hit with Customs fees. I'm now thinking that I look on the Yaris forums to see what those guys are using and like. I want the Flex Z because of the feature where the ride height adjusts separate from ride quality. I do about 100 miles a day for my commute to work. I'm really looking for a nice ride. The Flex Z are one of the few Prius-specific coilovers that I've seen with this feature. I noticed that the part # on them is the same for the Yaris, so that's why I'm thinking I can branch out a bit in my search... iPhone ?

Ok, so to clarify, these pics are with aftermarket coil-overs on the car? I have RPF1's with RE71R's on my other car...good stuff. On the C, I will not be doing susp, just the TRD rear sway bar and a camber kit up front. Would you advise the +35 or +41 offset RPF1's? I've got 15x6.5" Konig Heliums right now with 195/55/15's. I don't want to go any shorter on the tire without a drop though because the wheel gap would start to look ridiculous. Can't get good ultra sticky rubber tho in 205/55/15 or 195/55/15 except for some pricey Hankook z221's and Toyo's, both of which are inferior to the RE71R in multiple ways. Scratch the Teins. Can't get them. I ordered a nice set of Tanabes. Should be in within a month. Very excited. I want that TRD rear sway... That'll be after the coilovers. iPhone ?
Which Tanabe's did you get? I was just looking at the NF210, the one's with the least amount of drop & 5% spring rate increase. I feel like if I did that, I wouldn't have to bother with the camber kit...not taht the camber kit is difficult or anything, it is just that when I use camber bolts, I prefer to set them to max negative setting to prevent slipping out of adjustment, and I fear that running -2 degrees up front may be more than I need. I do not know, still kicking everything around.
I keep looking at the Tanabe springs. I really need to remind myself that my daughter will be 16 in less than a year, and I don't need her ripping the front bumper off backing up from a low parking curb. I think I just talked myself out of the NF210 springs. Which is all fine anyway. I have a steep driveway entrance and scrape on occassion even on stock ride height with OEM size tires. Ok, just feeling good that I made a decision one way or the other. Still, will let you all know how the TRD rear sway and camber bolts work out. Hoe to get them on later this week. I have 2 sets of the same Konig Helium wheels. 1 with the OEM tires on them, and another with some all season Hankooks with 195/55/15's which are a 1/2" smaller diameter at 23.5" vs. 24". I ran the 195's briefly a while back and the increased grip just made the car feel awkward. It had more grip but just felt funky. I really felt that the rear NEEDED that extra stiffness. So yeah, I'm pretty excited, but not looking forward to spending a few hours in the driveway putting the stuff on.
Ordered the Tanabe Sustec Pro CR coilovers. I have Tanabe springs right now, the DF210, and my stock shocks are shot after about 50k miles. iPhone ?
