I'm happy to report Lucy's blood work came back free of heart worms: A mosquito born parasite, there is a new protocol, a little expensive, but well worth it considering the quality of life she brings to my wife. You can't buy happiness but you can protect it. The vets and aids love her too. One doctor said,'She is like a little cat reaching out with her paw' which she did when getting her blood test. You mention a "new" protocol. What is different Bob? Glad to hear your loved one survived the treatments.
Indeed, it is nice that vet medicine has advanced so we can keep our family critters with us a little longer. Bob Wilson
I am glad that your dog is doing well. I am curious if she was on an anti-parasite medication before the heartworms occurred. Thank you
Yes but I was splitting the dosage between two dogs. Now I'm making sure each has the dosage recommended in full. Bob Wilson
I feel that this summer Olympics will be a disaster. They are still arguing about the funding. It is starting Aug 5. Also they brought a jaguar to a ceremony which escaped and they shot it dead. Then there is the Zika virus.
There have been worse and these risks pale compared to Munich 1972. Those who choose to take a trip, good luck. But they could stay at home and watch it on TV or delayed news reports. Bob Wilson
