it is top of the dash (well 60-70% of it) that goes over instruments as well... looks like nicer leather than Rav4 one in proper pics.

Every single bit of this interior looks nicer than Rav4 one.

So my first feelings regarding the interior regarding pics :

    +++
Interior looks good in general. FYI The color of strip could be blue or grey.
The 8 inch screen is well positioned
It seems that there is good head-legroom in front and back
It looks premium @ first glance
You have bottle arrangement on back doors

    ---
There is no "all digital dashboard" (audi like)
I didn't like the shifter. Why? Because there is no gearbox on hybrid model ! Why putting a shifter in a car that hasn't a gearbox (for habits of large public of course...). They could put simple scroll wheel for selecting D/R/N/B.
Trunk seems very limited for a 4.35m car
There is no induction charger phone on this one (compare to prius)
There is no HUD (compare to prius)
No glassroof in order to have more natural light inside???

do not know, this interior honestly looks better than Q2 interior and Q2 is significantly more expensive vehicle. I hear you about the HUD though, but then again, this is supposed to be cheaper than Rav4. Screen is very high positioned too.

And also, trunk looks large. Like significantly up on Auris, so it should be (well?) over 400l which is a lot IMHO. It is not replacing Rav4 - that is the one with big trunk. I was (good) surpised it is so deep though.

I also saw steering wheel heater so who knows what else they have in store for us. There is a version with black roof, it could be just panoramic roof that does not open up like in Auris or Verso. I dont really care for it since it gets really hot in here so blinds dont help too much.

I personally love the new shifter. It looks premium and sporty, lt is lifted from new Lexus vehicles but with shorter lever so it looks even better.

I cant really complain about this, it is dream come true that Toyota has a class leading interior. It also has all the latest self-driving stuff which I like, it is not half-feature one like in Auris/Corolla, it is more advanced version of whats available in Rav4.

Spanish mag has real life pictures from Milan fashion week. It looks really nice. They say it is luxury/Lexus like interior, feels good everywhere you touch. They also said that leather piece on top felt good.

They also have over 60 Toyota pics half of which were not on Toyota site.

They say only difference between mid spec and high spec model interior wise is half or full leather seats.

Too bad he took pics and video with what it looks like a phone camera.

Czech mag had some stock photos not on official EU sites. They say every small detail is done with care, for instance doors are very detailed, something we complain about here. Instrument bin is similar to new Avensis.

Spanish mag put up a video with real life vehicle. They mix in official video at some points, but it is easy to recognize which is which because they shot theirs with phone camera :)

Real life video of interior looks way better than any stock pic too.

    For Sale: 2016 Prius!

That's a great looking vehicle. If the C-HR is higher, and has as much leg/head room as my Prius, and gets at least 40 mpg... I might seriously consider a trade. (Just for the lighted blue cup holders alone. :ROFLMAO:) It appears to have big sturdy seats.

My Prius is very nice, but I don't "sit" into that car... I fall into it.

I don't see a "Power" driving mode button, like in the Prius. But, it looks like there’s an "EV" driving mode behind the shifter.

Love the half cloth/half leather interior of the mid-spec. It's funky enough to keep it in line with the exterior but also modern. It seems spacious enough too. It was a few tech toys like S-IPA, Toyota Safety Sense P and electronic parking brake with auto brake hold. It also has the European specifications like speed limit regulator and auto-folding mirrors. It also appears to have nanoe air filtration (similar to Plasmacluster in the US)

I was thinking 13-14 cu. ft. below the tonneau cover based on that video. (~370-400 litres). It's a well-shaped trunk.

Hi it seems that's there is only EV button. The driving mode will be selected from the 4.2 inch screen on dash (eco-normal-sport)

In the back persons of 1.91 cm can easily sit, room enough. Only problem is getting In the car without busting your Head and the small Windows to look out of.

Nice video, from 2:00 good impression of the backside.

Navigare, this week end you will have the chance to check the cabin. Please made a lots of pics. Can you see if the car has blind spot monitor (as prius) + induction charger (as prius) ?
It seems that there is no pedal parking as the prius has, can you confirm?

In the photos, you can see the electronic parking brake button below the shifter.

In the Prius, the button is the Park gear selector. The C-HR has that on the tradition gear shift.

Yeah Trollbait's got the answer. The Prius' "P" is the PARK selector.

The CH-R also has auto-brake hold (also in that same picture. It's the button that says "HOLD" between the EV Drive Mode button and the TRAC OFF button.
