I could have gotten better milage, but I left it idling for about 30 min on 2 occasions when I was picking up my son and it was too hot outside to just roll the windows down. Im loving this car. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
Fun isn't it? Had good weather last week, and took a long highway road trip, ended up with 530+ miles for the tank. It's fun owning a vehicle that is so efficient and actually makes you enjoy Spring and Summer that much more. I routinely shop at a grocery store outlet that allows you to build up "gas points" for money off the price per gallon. With the Prius by the time I need a fill up, I've usually built up quite a bit. So I feel lucky to have such a low expenditure for fuel. Really don't think there's a vehicle on 4 wheels with as much utilizable space and comfort that would allow me near that benefit.
