Reset economy data

    Does anyone know how to reset the ECU in a 2012 Prius by doing something else other than removing the 12v battery ?

    I did some changes which should improve fuel economy and if it uses older drive data, it could screw the predictions. I have heard that this needs a resetting time to time.

    You might be able to just remove the main 120amp fuse; but it is probably just as easy to remove the battery cable from the terminal.

    All you need to do is remove the Negative battery terminal for a few seconds and reconnect.
