Is there somewhere I can find a few accessories (official Toyota preferably) for the 2016 Prius c I will be buying? I am interested mostly in things like a rear bumper protector, doorjamb protectors, etc. Mostly protective strips and things for vulnerable areas. Thanks!
Hey guys! I bought this bumper protector for $58.50 shipping included. It's really neat, and cool. Don't get hosed at the dealer unless they're gonna let it go for cheaper! Let us know whatcha got Prius Brother!
Door stills you will have to look online. Or get it directly from Japan. It's a oem option there and they also have aftermarket ones.
If you search for "nhp10" on rakuten, that'll show you what exists for the C. Only oddity is you have to be conscious of the '12-'14 vs '15/'16 differences. Many of those parts or similar are obtainable on eBay, but usually at a higher price. If by chance you're buying a lot of stuff, buying from a single rakuten vendor may be cheaper than using eBay.
Yes sir peel and stick. There is a little arrow on the protector to help you line the protector perfectly with the rear door latch metal thingy so install is a snap. I also have another bumper protector that was $30 and that came with 2 strips of 3m mounting tape but this protector that i got for 58.50 in the photo, the sticker is different and covers most of the underside of the bumper protector rather than having a gap between two strips of mounting tape!!
Your mileage may vary but i got hit with identity fraud after buying stuff from rakuten. Could be a big coincedence and may not have anything to do with several cases of fraud in rakuten's checkered history, but i would never trust them with my credit card again.
Good thing I only used that as a search for what it available. I was tempted to buy things. Now I know not to
I could just be the lucky one, but I've bought several things from rakuten over the years. While in Asia, and in the US. Like anything online, exercise caution, but I did notice a massive difference if I went to the US rakuten site: Rakuten.com That generated interesting articles like this that I've run into via slickdeals/fatwallet/AThotdeals: Rakuten Buy.com Customers Getting Fraudulent Credit Card Charges - Slickdeals.net Vs the global rakuten site, where I spoke with purely Japanese guys with a co.jp TLD: (nhp10 search parameter added in) Rakuten Global Market: Nhp10 Maybe the trick I stumbled upon was to find a Japanese seller? I also stuck to one or two sellers at a time to save on shipping, and chose sellers with a high feedback rating akin to eBay. I'd still opt to buy from a Japanese seller on rakuten because a lot of the specific Japanese parts there are cheaper. Provided that the international shipping costs don't offset the savings, or (for military guys) if I happen to have a homebound friend stationed there on their way back.
