i have a question before I install my suspension. With all of you on drop springs, Where there any issues with alignment with being in the green? I know after 1.5 inch drop you will need a camber kit to make the corrections. I will want to know in advance so I can see if I will need alignment shims for the rears.
I had a .8in drop in the rear and was just barely in the green for rear left, and barely out of the green with the rear right. I know that doesn't help with your shims question, but I figured it was info you'd want.
The rear left was .08° out of the green. I was told that wasn't much out, but still a good idea to monitor it's wear. After 4 months now I see no change with my tire depth gauge vs the rest of the tires.
Thanks for the info. I'll take it in consideration that a 1.5 drop will be like .16 degrees off. I will buy a shim accordingly to correct it.
I only ask cause in Hawaii you need a inspection sticker for modified cars and everything need to be in spec ect. So now I know I need shims.
