Can anyone tell me where the A/V inputs are on a 2015 Prius v? Do they connect via RCA in the back of the head unit? Or perhaps HDMI ? I'm starting to look into connecting a MiraBox or Raspberry Pi - Does anyone have experience with this? I have found a few pages but they are really old. Who else wants to connect their car!?!? Lets Talk. -Brian
The 2015 has a completely different head unit than any other, but its doubtful it has any "AV inputs" other than the audio inputs on the dash, USB and line.
I noticed the head unit was similar to that of the recent model Avalon. The unit on my prius v does have a a/v input selection but no actual input ports, which is why I assume its in the back of the unit. Its frustrating that there seems to be zero information about it out there on the web. I guess I'll just have to wait until I bring it in for my 5k service.
Dont know if you found out any more info...if so, please share. I did find something that looks like it could work, but I have yet to pull the radio and see what type of pin connectors we have. Look up CRUX VIMTY-05 I can't post a link due to forum restrictions Ideally I just wanted to hook a mirror-link to mine... the navigation and Entune voice recognition system is horrid. I find it hard to believe this not the first generation, or that ANY company would put such a product into production.
