Thanks, IMO they look even better in the flesh. Honestly, I didn't even put a tenth of a mile on the stock 15" tires & rims so I don't have a direct comparative mpg figure, but based on the ~52 mpg combined that's claimed for the Prius 4 non-Touring, when I behave myself I'd say I'm giving up somewhere between 3 to 5 mpg.
They weren't hugely expensive (the wheels were around $125/ea), but I had a $100 credit from an earlier tire purchase for my wife's Matrix at Discount Tire, so that softened the blow a bit. As to the Michelins - I always put primo rubber on my cars, as I firmly believe that extra margin of traction they provide can make all the difference in avoiding rather than being in an accident. So those are justifiable and automatically worth it in my book.
Together these tires and rims really transform the car, and like my buddy with the GS300 said after taking it for a spin, "it drives like a Lexus". And with the way it grips, this thing really carries speed through a corner...which does help coasting and recover a little mpg. Another nice plus is that the gray finish on the wheels goes really well with the car's Magnetic Gray color, and the gray also almost completely hides everyday road dust and grime, so they look better longer between washes.

So, yes, I'd do it again without hesitation. Perhaps choose a different wheel, but most of the choices available were more $$ and I liked these just fine. This is a great combination.

Is this idiot proof to install/replace? Are there two horns I need to buy? Thanks!

Great look at an achievable price. Can we have another shot of the side of the car? Thx!

Did the upgraded horns reduce MPG? Sorry I couldn't resist ;-)

Definitely need to upgrade the horns. My Chihuahua farts are louder.

Thanks man! I'd be lying if I didn't admit you were part of my inspiration when choosing what to do. What are those fins on your roof? That is a really cool look.

Those are "vortex generators". They modify the air flow to help stabilize the car. Often used on airplanes and race cars. I don't know how effective they are, I mostly just like the look.

I spot painted the little white strip (black plastidip) behind the aero splitters. I think the little bit of white detracts from the look. Tell me what you think.

Yeah, they are really sharp looking!

It's funny I never noticed it before but you are right. Just a very very thin white strip behind it. It does look good in the pictures. How does it look up close? But it does look good in the pics and blends really nicely.

I like it. The good thing plastidip is that it is removable without any damage.
