I prefer the ol' fashion advertising way we're already doing .... we get this chat group with tons of plugin fans (theoretically) ... who rather than praise new plugin stuff that meet their needs - inexplicably they'll prefer to focus on 1%-2% company stock drops & how sales will slump when the oil companies practically give away their product at a loss. Yea - sometimes we're our own worst enemies. .
more hybrid fans on priuschat, i'd be willing to wager. el d, am i missing something? the headline says 'sales shoot up', but the article says 'they are getting 50% more calls, and more competition from leaf.' either way, a gas shortage would have a major effect on ev sales anywhere.
The way it reads to me is that the Leaf had recently been giving the Zoe competition, but since the oil shortage, they're getting more calls now for the Zoe.
Funny how it seems to work. Once the gas is in short supply , those so-called short-range plugins seem to be just fine. .
