Not sure if the Plug in retractable cargo cover is different from the regular gen 3 but I want one. I want the official toyota one not another brand. If you have this and want to unload it let me know your asking price and post some pics. I'll probably get off eBay but I figured I'd check here first.
I'm confused by the whole thing. I can't figure out what one will work. They all look similar but slightly different. Anyone know how I can even find the OEM one that comes with a PiP?
Looks like they're going for about $75. Remember gen 3 only comes in light gray with light gray plastic end caps on the aluminum frame. And it is longer on each end between the end cap and the curved end of the window shade itself (when rolled up) vs the gen 2. Any cover that works in 2010 and up will work. The Prius V cover looks like it has straps on the end iPhone ?
So any one listed on eBay as Prius 2010+ will work? Doesn't need to say PiP? It's hard finding one I trust is 100% OEM. Maybe you can link me to what you are finding? I called my Toyota Dealer out of curiosity and they said they'd gladly order me one for $375 plus tax.
Yes anything 2010-up will fit and even be the same color. I just searched for "Prius cargo cover" on eBay and looked for ones that state the year iPhone ?

I bought it used and for some reason it didn't have either. It didn't have floor mats either. The dealer gave me floor mats for free but said if I wanted the cargo mat and cargo cover it would be over $500 extra.
It's sitting in previous owner's garage or closet. Could you light a fire under the dealership, get them to contact the seller?
Huh. Well don't get the cargo mat, get an aftermarket cargo tray (rubber or vinyl). Husky or WeatherTech for floor mats and cargo liners. Maybe a Toyota cargo net if you're so inclined. iPhone ?
I didn't really push the issue too much. I think I got a very good deal so I didn't want to push it. I'm just glad they included the OEM floor mats when I brought it up. Well I have the OEM floor mats that they gave me but for the back I'll get some kind of mat/liner and then the cover I guess from eBay.
Cool. I believe husky mats and cargo liners come in black, tan, and grey. Of course the OEM cargo cover only comes in grey. But it's a different grey. Should be clear as mud lol iPhone ?
I could be wrong, but I believe he has a PiP and there is NO space under the cargo floor (unless you count the charging cable compartment). When I had my regular Prius though, I don't remember there being a special spot for the cargo cover. Just cargo floor, black storage tray, spare tire. iPhone ?
gen 2 had special indentations on either side. not familiar with gen 3, but pip has them and i keep mine there. you have to lift the corner flaps to see them. iirc, the manual shows how to store it.
