Well, I picked up our new '06 Driftwood Pearl, Package 7, last night. With only 58 miles on the odometer after I returned from work today I have a lot to experiment with; however, I did test out the Navigation system (very accurate depiction and correct routing); received a call using the Bluetooth capability; tried out the AM, FM and CD capabilities driven by voice commands; and made use of the "driving" feedback mechanism, otherwise known as the INFO screens. All in all, I need to be careful to pay sufficient attention to the traffic (a necessity here in South Florida) and keep my head out of the MFD. I traded in a 2002 SLK320 with 64,000 miles. While I may miss the convertible at times, the extra room and all of the "toys" more than make up for a little accelaration (not useable here much of the time) and cornering (not many corners here). I have been truly surprised and impressed with the handling and the quiet ride.
Congrats on the new ride. I live over on the other Florida coast and understand your comments. I also find it difficult to watch MFD and traffic and have to learn to keep eyes off MFD. I've had mt 06 Seaside pkg 7 with leather added for 2 weeks now. My wife has had her 05 Salsa red pkg 6 with leather added for 6 months. Gave up a 05 Subaru Legacy Turbo and a Honda CRV for my Prii. Miss some of my speed and handling but so far no regrets.

Congrats I just put the first tankful of gas in my new black Prius, loving it too so far. Now hopefully my 4Runner will sell soon so I don't have to carry both payments for long... haha. I'm also enjoying the Bluetooth. Funny story, though... I was out shopping for a hitch + bike rack, and the shop had pretty limited parking... they needed my car moved while I was still talking to a salesman about the options, so I just gave the girl my keys. A minute or two later, I decided to check my messages while he went to look up a part number, and it took me about 15 seconds or so to realize why I wasn't hearing anything. She came back in laughing about listening to my messages while moving my car the range is pretty good, it seems.
