I pretty much attend all of the Long Beach meetups. There just isn't much critical mass this far South.

 

I guess You'll have to keep me informed about their goings on and shenanigans !! I want to know !!

Hey, what LEDs did you purchase ?? Any thoughts on PrecisionLED (out of Los Angeles) or iJDMtoys (El Monte) and their kits ??

 

I don't have any experience with PrecisionLED.
As for iJDMToys, their interior lighting kits are the gold standard if you want bright and white interior lighting.

The type of LED retrofits that I'm talking about are the dash panel LEDs. For that, I'm primarily using LEDs from Oznium.com.

You know, they don't give you the super special installation tools, like PrecisionLED does ?? what's up with that ??

 

You have a plugin; I think you already have LED headlights. No?

 

I'm referring to all of the inner accessory bulbs... domes, doors, cargo, license plate...

 

im in san diego, is there a set meetup yet? also is there any car shops anyone recommends for prius' here in san diego?

 

There aren't any meet-ups going on in San Diego much. I've put out a couple of calls myself, but not much interest.
I'm a regular at the Long Beach meetups, which are fun.

Before I was on the ToyotaCare plan, I used to take my cars to Advantec on Adams Avenue. They're competent and don't give you any bullshit.

 

I've heard lots of good things about Toyota Lexus Care (TLC) off Convoy St in Kearny Mesa. A lot of my coworkers take their cars there. My Prius is still on ToyotaCare so I don't personally have any experience with them yet.

 

Maybe we can try another meet-up at Liberty Station or something? Plenty of restaurants/bars and big parking lots with plenty of space if there isn't an event happening.

 

Liberty Station sounds like a great idea. There's lots of parking and it's easy to find.

 

There were a bunch of Mazda's there on Saturday when I was in that area. I'm assuming they had a meetup of their own. There's a parking lot right in front of Soda & Swine that not too many people use. And S&S's food is pretty good.

 

Sounds cool to me. I wonder what the rest of the San Diego peeps have to say?
