I tried three browsers trying to edit: Why the BMW i3-REx | PriusChat edit screen appear normal 'submit' shows progress but it times out rebooting computer has no effect I was trying to add some metrics to the first post with the predicted performance. As a workaround, I added a new post to the end of the thread with the metrics. This is not a 'big deal' other than it dilutes what we know in the body of the thread. I am OK with this but suspect others may miss the new details. Not a 'hair on fire' but just 'this is what I'm seeing'. Trying to add a line after a second post in the thread. Bob Wilson
@ETP was having a similar problem I think, couldn't edit his intial posting, about his new 2016. I'm having a problem doing ANY posting, typed this last bit while stalled.
Hummm, I appreciate the follow-up post as it allowed me to check if adding postings to a thread triggered the effect. It suggests there may be something about the content that triggers the symptom. Bob Wilson
There has been a problem with the site for a while now. I too have had problems making edits, and then posting said edits. Same problem, times out before posting. Also have problems submitting post's on thread's such as this one. It happens sporadically, can't explain it other than that.
It might be interesting if a moderator could replicate the first-post, editing problem. I'd seen the intermittent ones in the past. But we may have an example that the moderator team can use to figure out what is going on: Problem post: "Why the BMW i3-REx | PriusChat" I 'reported' this post to the moderator team to give them a 'heads up.' There are ongoing issues, it is affecting moderators and their functions as well. We've told Danny, that's all we can do.
It seems to randomly affect certain threads for no/some reason. It seems a thread that an OP cannot edit the title on cannot also be moderated. If I try and move bobs linked to thread about the i3rex, it hangs up and eventually gets the Error 502 bad gateway message. Its done this same thing in the past, many times actually. It would go away but eventually always comes back. Its becoming quite the pain at times...

It acts like it is doing it then comes back with a Prius chat website issue warning page in Win 10 both IE and Edge. priuschat.com Host Error Could be the PICs in the post. When it was really bad I could not delete the PICs in the first post. Huummm. I was able to add a poll but could not edit the title. Looks like the site is smoken this morning.
