LED license plate bulbs question

    Has anyone changed the license plate bulbs to LED? Or are LED bulbs standard?

    What spec of LED bulbs should be used? Thanks.

    The bulbs in my wife's 2016 4 Touring are standard incandescent 194s. I changed them out for some Yorkim LED 194s that I found on Amazon. They look great, a nice bright white light. I had to switch out the interior lights as well. It kills me that Toyota puts incandescent bulbs in such a high-tech car.

    Thanks for the bulb part number info! I also don't get why Toyota is using incandescent bulbs in the new Prius.

    Thanks, I am on Amazon now and seems like there are several options for Yorkim 194. Could you possibly let me know which one is the best to buy? And also the quantity? (I'm assuming only 2 bulbs needed...) Thanks!

    My Three model also has LED license plate bulbs. (I wish the blinker bulbs were LED.)

    I think someone reported (in an older thread) that using an aftermarket plate LED interfered with their TPMS signal reception. Just to mention that in case it pops up. It certainly makes good sense to go LED where possible!
