Towing 2012 Pruis C: Tow dolly or flat bed?

The idea is to keep the front wheels as stationary as possible and the back wheels as free spinning as possible.
Definitely keep the car off and in park and no parking brake on!
Perhaps it would be advisable to disconnect the 12v battery during the tow to keep the computer as oblivious to the whole operation as possible?
I assume you're all strapping the front wheels to the dolly, right? I wouldn't want the first big bump to send the car flying into he next tree or other car..?
