Has anyone "Redded" out the tails?

Where did you purchase the LEDs? Do you know what size is needed?
Thinking that be a easy fix until I save enough to have someone paint my tail lights or suprge on the valenti lights

 

yah - and those of us with the first 2years of gen II got the smoked version as stock, which is pretty slick.

I use these in white for the reverse lights and red for the back turn signal and yellow for the front turn signals

 

any shop recommendations to red out my tail lights in So Cal area??? any issues with the paint fading ?

3 coats VHT & 3 coats enamel clear. Money saved put it into your suspension.

@SubCode got his tails professionally tint sprayed recently. I'm sure you can find a shop to spray yours if you don't want to DIY. There's also the world famous mod party...

 

I guess it's just a preference thing, but I really hate all-red tails on any car, and I cringe that even the import makes are changing to them more and more in their U.S. models now. I've just always preferred an amber signal strictly from a visual standpoint and also think it's safer (this is why most other places in the world require them). All that being said, I actually kind of don't hate andino's mod.
